Peoples’ Action for
Development (PAD) is a
registered CBO which is formed with the facilitation of
BOSCO REACH-OUT, Guwahati, for sustainability of the
development process in the area. BRO has initiated a
participatory approach in the development process through
empowerment of the rural poor and the marginalized
community of the North East Region in last 24 years.
Empowerment means access and control over resources,
information, decision making and developing confidence to
achieve integrated development – development in social,
economic, political, cultural and spiritual.
