Uttam is a Community Mobiliser on our project- Strengthening Resilience: Sustainable Adaptation to Climate Change in Flood-Affected Areas of Assam.

How long have you been working with PAD, and what is your role?

I have been at PAD since 2017. I started on the Disaster Risk Reduction and Brahmaputra river basin project before transitioning to my current role.

What did you do before joining PAD?

I worked at the Tezpur Social Services Society through CRS and Caritas India, as well as America Care and Habitat India, working on emergency response.

For you, what is the best thing about working for PAD?

PAD is a completely dedicated organisation for social work, monitoring and administration. I also enjoy that we support one another and treat each other like a family.
